A group shot of our 21 students and leaders after worship at St. Philip Presbyterian Church in Houston.
One group paints the porch of an older man who needed home repairs, and friendly faces. These students were great at both!
This year students took turns cooking for the group. We all sat together and shared table fellowship every morning and evening. Meals included tacos, kabobs, pancakes, pulled pork, and more!
Several groups wound up helping to prep and paint two new home builds. These homes were next door to each other and would house two sisters and their families. The mobile homes that were located on this double lot were destroyed in Hurricane Harvey. A group of Mennonite men were doing the true building, we were lending a hand with caulking and painting.
